As of 1 January 2012, BOCA has merged with Birds Australia to become BirdLife Australia. The new BirdLife Australia website will go live in early February, and until then the current BOCA site will continue to be available.

Make your own Karak



Make your own Karak Colour the tail for a male bird with big red stripes and the crest all black. If make a female bird colour the tail orange and yellow with thin red stripes. On the crest have yellow spots on a black back ground. To make her look even more realistic use yellow paint to make yellow-trimmed feathers on the body and more yellow spots on the head. Cut all the pieces out and glue them together. Curl the feet over a stick or rolled piece of paper to look like a branch.
