From the Editorial Committee

Apart from the above articles and our usual reports on BOCA Activities and Bird Notes, this edition features articles about the Furneaux Group in Bass Strait, Yellow Chats at Lake Argyle, "Living on the Beach" north of Townsville and Plumed Whistling-Ducks.
The Committee thanks all those who have taken the trouble to write very complimentary letters and emails regarding the standard of our magazine. We welcome the support and see The Bird Observer as a work in progress with continued improvement being the aim.
