About BOCA Publications
Welcome to BirdLife Australia!As of 1 January 2012, BOCA has merged with Birds Australia to become BirdLife Australia. The new BirdLife Australia website will go live in early February, and until then the current BOCA site will continue to be available. At BirdLife Australia we are dedicated to achieving outstanding conservation results for our native birds and their habitats. With our specialised knowledge and the commitment of an Australia-wide network of members, volunteers and supporters, we are creating a bright future for Australia’s birds.  PublicationsBOCA publishes a range of printed and audio material of interest to various sections of the birding community. The Stickybeak is our magazine for junior members. Australian Field Ornithology is a quarterly journal containing more scientific papers on birds, primarily based on field observations. The Little Blue Birdlist is a pocket-sized checklist of Australian birds with columns for recording sightings. BOCA Leaflets cover a range of subjects of interest to birders. Victorian Bird Report is an annual report of significant bird sightings in Victoria jointly published by BOCA and Birds Australia. A Field Guide to Australian Birdsong is a series of cassettes and CDs containing calls of more than 700 species of Australian birds. BOCA Reports is a series of short publications of previous BOCA bird surveys and research reports relating to birding. Branch Newsletters are published by many of our branches (some may only be viewed by members - see Branches for the list of branches). Emu - Austral Ornithology is published by Birds Australia and is included here as a high quality scientific journal which may be of interest to BOCA members. Links to other items in Publications
